Life & Technology – 2GB 25th September, 2021

This week on the show, we invited Louise Hyland, CEO from Australian Mobile Telecommunications Association (AMTA) who shared how 5G will impact smart cities in Australia.

Smart cities powered by 5G will not only optimise public spaces, transport, business and home functions leading to better sustainability, liveability, productivity, and workability, they will also promote economic growth, which will be essential for Australia’s recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Australian Mobile Telecommunications Association (AMTA) has identified five ways that 5G is being used to shape the future of smart cities across personal and home applications, waste management, energy efficiency, public safety and security, and mobility.

We also invited Alex Choros, Managing Editor from Whistleout. Alex discussed how the iPone13 is performing in the market so far. Check out the website Alex writes for where you can read more information about all the plans for iPhone 13.
