In this week’s edition of Life & Technology radio show on 2GB, Charlie talks about mobile apps. For starters, Charlie spoke with app developer Justin Harcourt about his Expedition White Shark app, which allows users to track where tagged Great White sharks are in real time.
Some of the things they’ve discussed include the reason behind the development of the app, its applications, a short background on its development and the men behind the app, and future plans for the apps use especially in Australia.
Charlie also spoke with Commonwealth Bank’s Chief Marketing & Online Officer, Andy Lark about Kaching – the bank’s own app developed to help CommBank’s clients to pay for item with their smartphones. The discussion revolved around how to use Kaching, its integration with social networking site Facebook and its security features.
