Today on Life & Technology Radio Show on 2GB the discussions circled on televisions and electronic wastes.

 

Our first guest was Harvey Norman’s Nigel Dent. Nigel Dent is the National Business Manager for Audio Visual at Harvey Norman and today he talked about some of the smart TVs that are currently out in the market. Nigel Dent also discussed a few things about Plasma and UHD TVs as well as some deals with regards to the purchase of these products.

 

Also on the show today is Carmel Dollisson, CEO of Tech Collect. Charlie and Carmel Dollisson discussed a recent report released by the tech forum on how Australians set a world record in e-waste stakes. Specifically, Carmel Dollisson talked about some of the initiatives the company has placed in order to encourage people to recycle their e-waste.

 

Carmel Dollison also educated our listeners on how much it cost people to recycle their wastes and other items relevant to this process such as identifying the most popular items being recycled and what happens to such products after recycling.

 

And as always, Charlie answered some questions which was emailed or tweeted by listeners of the show.
