Samsung has typically announced its new Galaxy Note at IFA, an annual tech event held in Berlin in September, but it looks like its jumping the gun this year. Samsung this week announced that it will be announcing a new Galaxy smartphone, presumably the Note 5, in New York on August 13 – August 14 in Australian time.

 

We don’t know much about it yet, but rumours suggest it will take some visual cues from the Galaxy S6, and eschew plastic for a metal and glass design. I can't wait to see how it looks!
