2GB with Rohan Marley

Spoke with Rohan Marley, who is the son of reggae legend Bob Marley. Rohan is in Australia releasing the House of Marley range of sound gear that includes ear plugs, headphones, as well as iPhone and iPod docks. One of the things that I really like about this gear – although I have yet to test them – is that Marley says they are committed to making sure they are green.

The company does this by using recycled plastics and other materials and use a sustainable wood supply so as to have a minimal impact on the environment. Also, Marley says that part of the profits from the sale of the units will go to Reclink, an Australian charity that assists those who are at a disadvantage in the world.

Had some queries about the Logitech solar-powered K750 keyboard, which was my product of the week. It comes in at $129 and has a couple of interesting features such as it carges itself whenever there’s light utilising both sunlight and ambient light, and it stays charged for at least three months in total darkness.
