Talking Facebook Tracking on the Today Show
Spoke with Lisa about the discovery by Aussie technology blogger Nik Cubrilovic that Facebook can track you even after you log off the social networking site. What it does is continue to track sites you visit that have the Facebook button on them.
Now, nobody is suggesting that they have sinister motives, or that they are going to keep and distribute the informatio. However, for a company that has taken a lot of hits over the past 12 months over issues of privacy, you would think they would be a little more circumspect when it comes to releasing new widgets and features that hoard/store cookies?
