Charlie also spoke with pharmacist Fabian McCann about a prescription app he developed that lets consumers send their prescription to a pharmacy so that it is ready for them when they arrive at the store. The app is designed to cut down on wait time and improves the efficiency of pharmacists allowing them to full prescriptions when they are not so busy. Currently available on iTunes, coming for Android.
Specifically, the two discussed why Fabian decided to develop the app, the specific market the app is targeting, the apps practicality and of course its cost to download.
Other things that Charlie talked about the show include Toshiba’s new Kira Ultrabook, Amazon talking about a 3D smart phone and more.
