Spoke with Karl on the Today Show about Apple\’s latest gadget- the iPad Mini. I would say that this is definitely an essential move for Apple, especially considering how big the 7-inch tablet market is right now.
If Apple hasn\’t gone ahead with the new Mini, it would have definitely lost market share to the 7-inch forerunners. The 7 to 8 inch market is really hot right now and is slated to gain 34 million in sales.
Features-wise, all-in-all the iPad Mini is just that, a smaller version of the original iPad. It has the same features and even the same resolution despite its reduced size.
The iPad Mini will launch in Australia on November 2nd and will cost AU$369 for the WiFi only model.
